Intuition Gu

After meeting Fang Yuan in Gu Yue village, Tie Ruo Nan says her intuition finds him covered in shadows. Tie Xue Leng answers that she has Intuition Gu, which strengthens her intuition, that a case needs definite evidence, and that she must not depend on intuition or use the Gu to solve this case. ^{ch. 173}

Investigation use

During the Jia Jin Sheng investigation, Tie Ruo Nan apologizes for using Intuition Gu after concluding the village was ignoring a murder of mortals. With the case still clean of hard clues, she names Fang Yuan the biggest suspect and says she can only investigate him by leaning on her own reading of the situation. ^{ch. 176} Later she closes her eyes and activates Intuition Gu in secret, feels an enlightenment, and concludes that Fang Yuan must have had the Liquor Worm long before the rock gambling reveal. Tie Xue Leng answers that instincts are sometimes wrong and cannot represent truth. ^{ch. 177}
