Formation heart Gu is a common rank one Gu used as a basic core when laying a Gu formation.
In a formation path dream realm, Tu Shi Cheng opens his palm and gives Fang Yuan, as the newly awakened Gu Master son, formation heart Gu as his first Gu worm. With Tu Shi Cheng’s help, Fang Yuan refines the rank one Gu. The text names it one of the most basic Gu worms for laying a formation, and it is commonly available throughout the five regions. Tu Shi Cheng then lends four other rank one Gu and tells Fang Yuan to use formation heart Gu as the core, choose among those Gu, and arrange a Gu formation. ch. 1323
Appearance
Formation heart Gu looks like a ladybug. Its carapace is glossy and round, it is as small as a little finger, and it has a glistening yellow shine. After refinement, its carapace opens and the thin wings inside flap as it flies around its new master. ch. 1323
Destroyed in Fang Yuan’s first formation attempt
Fang Yuan’s first attempt at arranging a Gu formation combines formation heart Gu with a water path Gu worm, a wind path Gu worm, and then a fire path Gu worm, and adding the fire path Gu worm sets off a conflict with the water path Gu that explodes. Formation heart Gu is destroyed outright in the blast, while the water path and fire path Gu worms are left near death and the wind path Gu worm is heavily injured. ch. 1324
