Flowerbud Gu

Fang Yuan first holds Flowerbud Gu in Li Ran’s house in Shang Clan City, after finding it in a secret compartment under the bed and refining it with Spring Autumn Cicada aura while Li Ran is still on the battle stage. ^{ch. 283}

Appearance

It is shaped like a flower, light blue in colour, crystal in material, and shines clearly under sunlight. ^{ch. 283}

Form and rank

It is rank two and used to store items. ^{ch. 283}

It is Li Ran’s storage Gu, and he keeps a stellar stone inside it at home rather than taking that stone onto the battle stage. ^{ch. 283}

Effect

It stores physical goods. When Fang Yuan’s mind enters the Gu he sees a large sack of rice, daily necessities, a poor quality block of compressed tea, thirty to forty primeval stones, and a few fossils, with the stellar stone among them. ^{ch. 283}

Activation uses primeval essence. Fang Yuan injects essence and a black light flies out of the Flowerbud Gu, landing in his palm as the stellar stone. ^{ch. 283}

Ownership and refinement

Li Ran had refined the Flowerbud Gu himself. When Fang Yuan refines it, Li Ran loses connection at once and can only read that as destruction or another person’s refinement. Forcefully taking over the Flowerbud Gu requires a rank three Gu Master. ^{ch. 284}

Fang Yuan’s Spring Autumn Cicada aura lets him refine Li Ran’s Flowerbud Gu instantly in that house scene. ^{ch. 283} Mid-fight, Li Ran stages a loss and rushes home after the link breaks. He finds the house ransacked and later reasons that the Flowerbud Gu is still in the thief’s hands while he weighs how to recover the stellar stone. ^{ch. 284} No later cited chapter names another owner or a further use of this Gu after that confrontation.

Path

The Shang Clan City chapters never assign Flowerbud Gu a cultivation path.
