Do or Die Gu is a rank five Gu. It can fill a Gu Master's aperture with a large amount of primeval essence at once, at the cost of lowering that Master's cultivation stage.
From five hundred years of memories, Fang Yuan knows Pei Yan Fei holds this Gu during the fight at Pei tribe camp in Northern Plains. When Ge Guang urges him to press the kill after Pei Yan Fei looks spent from Golden Rainbow Strike, that knowledge alone is not enough for Fang Yuan to give up. He asks whether there is bad news from Ge tribe camp, Zheng tribe camp, and Bei tribe camp. When Ge Guang reports none yet, Fang Yuan judges something is wrong and orders the retreat. ch. 482
Battlefield activation
When Fang Yuan begins to retreat, Pei Yan Fei activates rank five Do or Die Gu. Large amounts of primeval essence appear from thin air and fill his dry aperture, and he rushes to attack. He then stops after Fang Yuan reveals the white-eyes wolf as a mutated beast equal to a myriad beast king. ch. 483
