Commanding Leader Gu is a rank five human path Gu with an enslavement path effect, a mortal Gu that gained great fame in history and quickly went extinct.
It looks like a longhorn beetle, with a jade-like body and two feelers more than ten times its body length that are like long red ropes. Rumors say it had a great effect and was compatible with many types of Gu worms. In the enslavement path dream realm that Fang Yuan’s dragonman clone enters for the Dragon Palace test, Chen Fu takes it out as his betting item against Wu Shuai, the identity the clone wakes into. The clone gains an intuition that passing that scene will get him the recipe of commanding leader Gu. Zhang Shuang, who stands with Chen Fu in that wager, then loses an ant enslaving contest to the clone and hands over the Gu as the stake. ch. 1827
