Beast Skin Gu

In the Gu Yue academy Gu storage room, after Iron Skin Gu, Fang Yuan sees Beast Skin Gu. Jade Skin Gu and Beast Skin Gu belong to the same series as Bronze Skin Gu and the other skin Gu: similar appearance and similar defense effects, but with large value gaps between members. ^{ch. 62}

Appearance

Beast Skin Gu belongs to the skin Gu series, whose members are alike in build: like a bedbug, flat and wide, with a small head and an oval body. No color is recorded for Beast Skin Gu itself, though the same storage room shows Bronze Skin Gu yellow-orange with a faint bronze glow and Iron Skin Gu giving off a black iron glow. ^{ch. 62}

Form and value

Beast Skin Gu is the most common Gu in that series, even cheaper than Rock Skin Gu, but it has more evolutionary lines and can fuse with more varieties of Gu. Jade Skin Gu is the rarest of the series. The academy storage room holds only rank one Gu, and the skin Gu Fang Yuan inspects there sit in that stock. ^{ch. 62}

On a wild boar king’s body there would normally be Boar Gu such as Pink Boar Gu or Flower Boar Gu. Other than the boar species, there might also be Beast Skin Gu or Spike Fur worm. ^{ch. 77}
