With Yi Nan Men he hides near a lake while Shang, Tie, and Hou immortals watch the mortal duel. He worries their actions will alert those three Gu Immortals. In the plan he is the one meant to assassinate after the water monster rises, though he is not yet familiar with that move. ch. 1533

Lake plot
When the ancient water monster erupts he says the immemorial desolate beast can kill the three immortals for them. Yi Nan Men answers that the beast is raised by the young man who was fighting earlier. ch. 1534 He later urges flight when Fang Yuan’s rank eight battle strength is clear, then joins Yi Nan Men in vowing to fight to the death if found. ch. 1535 After Lu Wei Yin intervenes he urges killing Fang Yuan and later asks to open the battlefield so they can return to their clan. ch. 1539
