Underground moss is found in Earth Abyss, the vast underground world in Central Continent's far west that Ancient Soul Sect controls.
From the eighth layer of Earth Abyss downward, Ancient Soul Sect Gu Masters, mostly moving in groups, are seen gathering underground moss or hunting wild beasts. The deeper the layer, the fewer of these Gu Masters there are and the higher their cultivation, from rank two at first to rank three and rank four, and by the thirtieth layer none are seen. ch. 728
