Water Prison Gu

Form and rank

It is a rank three water prison Gu. Wang Han says he took a high interest loan and bought it on purpose to deal with Fang Yuan and claim All-out Effort Gu. ^{ch. 288}

Effect

Once trapped, the water ball holds firm against hard strikes. Fang Yuan’s boar strength phantom shakes and deforms it without collapse. His bear strength phantom almost breaks it, but the ball returns to shape. Wang Han claims beast strength is hard while the flow of water is soft, so softness subdues hardness. ^{ch. 288}

Fang Yuan then kicks with crocodile strength phantom. Unlike boar and brown bear, crocodile strength is amphibious and adept at the water element, and that kick smashes the water prison to pieces. ^{ch. 288} That kick’s impact carries him forward to kill Wang Han and end the battle. ^{ch. 289}

Use on the battle stage

Wang Han brings it out only after he decides he cannot win a prolonged fight against All-out Effort Gu phantoms. He treats the prison as the tool that lets him finish Fang Yuan and seize All-out Effort Gu under battle stage rules.
