At Lang Ya Blessed Land, the land spirit says it does not hold starlight firefly Gu and will not buy any from treasure yellow heaven to complete an exchange. Fang Yuan asks for that Gu because he wants starlight for stargate Gu. ch. 462

Rank, use, and trade
Starlight firefly Gu is a rank three Gu, small like an ordinary firefly, and when activated it emits genuine azure starlight. Inside Hu Immortal Blessed Land, that starlight is the only source that can form a stargate; keeping a gate open kills one firefly every three breaths. Fang Yuan trades Immortal Gu remnant recipes through Connecting Heaven Gu for large numbers of ordinary starlight fireflies so he can breed his own starlight firefly Gu later, because the Gu themselves cannot reproduce. ch. 466
