Spring Gu is a rank eight time path Immortal Gu. Fang Yuan steals it from Xia Cha as part of a Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter set.
After more than ten days of sovereign immortal aperture time, Fang Yuan obtains Xia Cha’s four Immortal Gu. They form a complete set: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Spring Gu and summer Gu are rank eight, while autumn Gu and winter Gu are rank seven. All four are time path Immortal Gu. ch. 1606

Food chain killer move
Fang Yuan has already refined Spring Gu and summer Gu for aperture work. He modifies a killer move called spring sprout that uses rank eight Immortal Gu Spring as the core and wood sprout Immortal Gu as supplementary. It sprouts birds weaving grass planted in cloud soil and quickly dyes a large patch of cloud soil green. ch. 1794
