Red Copper Fire Ant is a rank six ant Immortal Gu that spits out fireballs, born from the lingering poisonous ant plague killer move in Fire Plain grotto-heaven.
It is golden in color and as large as a mountain, and it resembles red copper. Fang Yuan obtains it as one of three Immortal Gu, the other two being a heavily injured fire path Immortal Gu and white noodle queen ant. Fang Yuan can still barely see its origin: it should have been an arrow ant, whose mouth shoots sharp spikes and which, after shooting three, is too weak to fight even a worker ant. ch. 2108
Recipe and cost
Fang Yuan does not know its Immortal Gu recipe and cannot recreate it. Refining it and white noodle queen ant took resources from Fire Plain grotto-heaven that would normally be sufficient to refine more than ten rank seven Immortal Gu. Fang Yuan reasons that, given enough resources, lingering poisonous ant plague could still produce slight variants of this Gu, such as a red copper water ant or a yellow gold fire ant. ch. 2108
Other possible Immortal Gu
The lingering poisonous ant plague gave birth to two Immortal Gu, red copper immortal ant Gu and white noodle immortal ant Gu. With a slight change there might be another kind of Immortal Gu, such as dark-gold immortal ant or black noodle immortal ant. ch. 2136
