Quantity Change Gu

On the Upslope Road during the Myriad Tribes Ceremony, the remaining contestants find an extraordinary rank eight Immortal Gu on the ground behind a Predicament. Yellow Bell Tribe Leader names it quantity change Gu and claims it when the group defeats the Predicament and shares the meat. ^{ch. 2116}

Appearance

It looks like an ant the size of an adult’s fist and emits a rainbow colored light. ^{ch. 2116}

Effect

With this Immortal Gu the user can raise a target from one to ten, then ten to a hundred, and so on, while immortal essence expenditure rises accordingly. Some targets cannot be multiplied, including any Immortal Gu. In combat it can also reduce quantity: if an enemy shoots a torrent of flames, quantity change Gu can cut the number of flames and weaken the offense. ^{ch. 2116}
