Ordinary earth chief zombie Gu is rank five, peer to asura zombie, heavenly demon zombie, blood wight, nightmare zombie, and plague zombie, and it cannot fly. Mo Yao’s modified recipe is the version that lets an earth chief zombie soar by natural magnetic field without wings. ^{ch. 570} The downgraded reward uses old earth chief zombie Gu in place of that modified Gu. ^{ch. 579}
