House Lizard Gu is a rank two Gu house common in Northern Plains camps. It looks like a many-colored lizard large enough to live in, and it walks with the tribe when the camp relocates.
At Ge tribe’s camp in Northern Plains, Fang Yuan first sees House Lizard Gu as the ordinary Gu Master dwelling after the mortal tent ring. ch. 439
Appearance
This rank two Gu has outer form like a lizard with many colors. The most commonly seen colors are dark green, sky blue, and milky white. They are huge, like buses. The lizard has two eyes that act as windows, and the two sides of the body also have windows. Sprawled on the ground, the open mouth reveals the door. When the tribe relocates, it gets up and moves on four strong limbs. ch. 439
Large lizard body
Large lizard house Gu is advanced from the rank two lizard house Gu. The lizard house Gu is already large as a bus and like a four-legged lizard on the outside. Large lizard house Gu is like a two-storey building, its body five times the size of a lizard house Gu. ch. 507
Form and use
It is a rank two Gu. Its outer shape is a lizard; the common colors are dark green, sky blue, and milky white. It is about the size of a bus, with the two eyes and the body sides serving as windows, and the open mouth as the door. ch. 439
Inside is a long passage with rooms on both sides and a toilet at the end for temporary waste. When the tribe moves, the lizard stands and walks on four limbs. When waste builds up, it lifts its tail and empties that store. A family living in one needs at least one Gu Master. ch. 439
Larger form
Large lizard house Gu is rank three, advanced from the rank two form. The rank two body is already bus-sized with a central passage and side rooms; the large form is about five times that size, built like a two-storey building with more rooms and space. ch. 507
