Effect

Fang Yuan’s flight with it is faster than the Gu’s normal limits and can match some mortal killer moves. He reads that extra speed as help from dao marks suited for flying on the body he is using. ^{ch. 1025}

Borrow and discard

The set of four rank five mortal Gu taken from Huo Kong Dong is flying smoke Gu, fire cape Gu, connecting heaven Gu, and divine sense Gu. ^{ch. 1027} Fang Yuan soon drops fire cape Gu and flying smoke Gu when Lang Ya land spirit sends clothing Gu through treasure yellow heaven. He is not satisfied with either Gu; the effect of the flames is too eye catching, and they are unnecessary. ^{ch. 1032}
