When the pair enter the auction hall, other Gu Immortals already know Unfettered Scholar keeps two Gu Immortal attendants named Tian Xiang and Hong Xiu, and they identify the woman in the red dress as Fairy Hong Xiu rather than Fairy Tian Xiang. When the clan was destroyed he never abandoned them through the escape that followed; after his own ascension he spent heavily to make both attendants into Gu Immortals as well. ^{ch. 748} Inside the venue he walks with her into a room after greeting Qin Bai Sheng. ^{ch. 749}
